Angela, aka Spicy (fka $PICY), is a Chinese-Filipina multifaceted artist, DJ, and producer based in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Angela entered the Bay Area DJ scene in 2018 through No Chance Radio (NCR), an artist collective and marketing agency aimed at fostering good artistry. Since then, she has brought her sound to dance floors across the West Coast, Hawai‘i, and Mexico, earning recognition from industry platforms such as Beatsource and DJcity. In 2023, she launched Cute Times Ahead, an event brand where she conceptualized, promoted, and programmed themed experiences that brought together music, creativity, and community.

Her venue experience spans Bay Area favorites like El Rio, Rec Room, and Madrone, as well as larger venues including 1015 Folsom, The Midway, SVN West, and Crybaby Oakland.

Angela has shared stages with DJs including DJ Jazzy Jeff, Four Color Zack, Sosupersam, Austin Millz, and Miles Medina, and has performed alongside artists such as Kehlani, Smino, T-Pain, and Sean Paul. She has also worked as an artist DJ for a variety of emerging performers.

With years of experience across clubs, festivals, weddings, and live productions, Angela has built a reputation as a versatile and dependable DJ who thrives in any environment. Known for her professionalism, adaptability, and ability to read a crowd, she delivers thoughtfully curated sets and seamless experiences that leave a lasting impression.
